I absolutely love Key West and have been there several times in the last 10 years.   I came across this sign which is on a road a block or two off of Duval street.   It reads End of the Rainbow and end of the Route US-1.  I don't know what posessed me to take the photo except for the fact that I simply liked the sign. 



Why I Love Samantha Brown And Her Travels

When I want to treat myself to some great tv viewing of lavish lifestyles I watch Samantha Brown on the travel channel. Now that I can watch her on my cannonsatellite tv life is much better. She is always going on wonderful trips to Africa or taking cruises and living the high life. My favorite episode was when she took a cruise to the Carribean where she stayed in style. They showed the huge suite she had in the ship and all the amenities available to do on the trip. On this episode she tried wakeboarding in the wave simulator and she got mass ages from the spa and went dancing in the nightclub. They also showed the destination stops and how beautiful the different stops were like Jamaica and Ochos Rio.

On the episode where she went to Africa she stayed in a lavish hotel with marble and beautiful greenery surrounding the hotel. Once again she was taking in the massages, great food and went on a really neat looking safari. Samantha really looks like she has the dream job but as she says in one of the episodes she also has to show up to the gyms available at these hotels and burn off all that good food. I would still be willing to try her job for a week though.

San Diego

We visited San Diego as part of our cruise vacation itinerary a few years ago. Since we had only one day in San Diego we decided to tour the city on the Old Town Trolley. We booked the tickets through the cruiseline since it was a few dollars less at the time.   The Trolley picked us up and dropped us off right at the ship so it was very convenient.

We saw downtown San Diego, Coronado Island where we went to the beach in front of the Coronado Hotel, and the mission area of San Diego where there are beautiful homes. There is some nice San Diego real estate to see there.

Honolulu, Hawaii

My husband and I honeymooned on Oahu 20 years ago. We climbed Diamond Head and enjoyed the fantastic view from the top. Even though it is only 800 feet high I found it a strenuous climb for someone who is not athletic. It was easy for my husband but not for me.
